"Exercise" is such a loaded issue. So many more people talk about it than actually do it , but there is no controversy about its benefits - so many that are not weight-loss related. Muscle strength, brain function, mood....it's something that we KNOW WE 'SHOULD DO' - we may not love to do it, but we love the results. And since "addicted" has such negative connotations, sweet, it sounds so much better to say "dedicated" or "motivated" - that's what you are - keep up the good work!!

Yes - Dedicated to my exercise. And I am pretty disciplined about it because I know too well how lazy and unmotivated I feel when I've missed it for a period of time. Exercise really does have a variety of benefits, and it's helpful in so many ways. If I could train myself to see food in the same way, I'd be so well off.

I'm so stressed from the problems with my Bar Mitz invitations that I made myself do an extra 2 miles on the treadmill to "sweat out my tension." It worked....

Glad to know that the sweat worked to relieve some of the stress. I was glad to see that someone other than I can find the help in this non-eating outlet for stress and tension, etc.

Thanks Sweet. Looking at exercise as a stress reducer rather than a body reducer has been very helpful to me over the years.
