Lovetoeat, you should definitely be happy. If you don't gain weight and are losing weight, if you aren't on maintenance........ then you are doing something right.

Mazel tov. -1/2 lb. is great!

Anyway - dont be so hard on yourself - we are just human and any day that's a good day is a real gift...as for the other ones, what an opportunity to learn!

We just always have to make sure to "hear it"

As klong as we "hear it" it will remain in our heads until we are ready to "use it"

I just had my annual physical, and my weight is higher than it's been for a long time, but my clothes are fitting nicely and I thought I lost weight.........

So, now I am convinced that I have to go according to how I feel and not a number on the scale or I'll never be happy...........

Talk about going to doctors and getting on the scale - that's exactly what I'm afraid of doing....

I've also been pushing off posting because of this. Now that I got the courage to do this - I hope I'll continue with the behaviors that I know bring me closer to my goal.

Hi Lovetoeat,

I'm so happy to see you back...... try not to get so discouraged that you stop communicating. Are you generally in good health? I don't mean to be a nosy yenta.
Just, maybe you don't have to worry so much about the # on the scale. You seem to have a very nice family from what I remember you've written, and I bet they love you and just want you to feel good.
