Reply with quote | #16 | I've decided to stop complaining about PMS and also to stop indulging my moodiness so much. Most of the mood swings have to do with eating crazy........ .....So, this weekend we have 3 B'nai Mitzvahs to go to, all on Shabbos...... I'm not even panicking over the food. I am picturing myself talking and dancing a lot, and eating from the healthier choices. The good news is that we only need 1 outfit for all 3 shul services and 1 outfit for all 3 parties motzei shabbos........ |

What a great attitude sportsmom! Focus on your making the good time - not the food making (or breaking) the enjoyment. __________________ sweet |

Reply with quote | #18 | So Shabbos came and went, and we had a lot of fun at all the simchas........ I managed my eating pretty well. Just at the last party, the food was so good, I had to taste everything and ate too much...... but no dessert....... so I count that as a victory. Then, on Sunday morning we found out that a very dear friendpassed away suddenly, and I've been devastated ever since.................

Reply with quote | #19 | That is so sad. Everything becomes so petty when something of such magnitude happens... Another thing is - when a family member dies you get a chance to sit shivah and you go through the healing process. Here life just goes on and you're a wreck... __________________ Eat, shrink and be merry. |
